The youth fashion scene in the UK is unarguably monotone and spiritless - lacking substance. Everyone wears the same pieces resulting in a lack of originality and self identity. UK fashion culture is definitively behind that of the USA due to it lacking many elements which make street wear in the USA so captivating and individualistic.

Fashion is supposed to be an art of self expression. However, recently many fashion brands have simply followed trends resulting in many wearing the same pieces feeding into the very problem. The thing is… we cannot all be the same. Everyone is unique with unique tastes and preferences, therefore the fashion scene should move towards providing the opportunity to express every individuals uniqueness.

The phrase “creating a brand for the youth” is extremely overused within the streetwear industry. It’s a statement that conflicts highly with the current price tags on streetwear pieces as well as the lack of choice within the industry. Our aim is to make more individualistic pieces more available to the youth. After all, a clothing line designed for the youth made by the youth doesn’t sound too bad, does it?
